Local Sights and Places of Interest
Accra or Rockley, (not to be confused with the the Rockely Club golf course slightly inland), is one of Barbados best loved beaches by local and tourists alike. There are beach chairs and umbrellas all along the long stretch of white sand, and you can find both sunny and shady spots to relax. A wide variety of local watersports are on offer from the beach vendors, as well as small bars, eateries and souvenir shops.
For Shoppers
Just inland from the coast road at the junction to Rendezvous Hill, Massy Stores offers the largest selection of groceries on the South Coast.
Cave Shepherd offers duty-free shopping across a selection of beach wear, perfumes, jewellery and gift items.
For Foodies
Tiki bar at the end of Accra has an amazing sunset view, simple fare such as burgers, wings and catch of the day, plus a double happy hour every Friday from 5 to 7 (you may find us there on occasion).
Worthing Square hosts a vibrant collection of food trucks, best visited in the evening when they are all open.
