Wave Surfing: This property is located right in front of a good left hand surf reef break. There are other excellent surf breaks (including ‘Brandons’ and ‘Sunset at Accra’) within easy walking distance along the beach. Best time of year for these local breaks is from January to May. March and April are usually the best months. When the surf is up it can last from 3 to 6 weeks, with best conditions on a rising tide at any time of the day.
Snorkeling and Scuba Diving: Good snorkeling is available all along the coast and within easy walk from the property. There is a small lagoon nearby where you can feed the fish with bread. Hundreds of fish will eat the bread right from your hand. Just outside the reef there are a couple of good scuba diving locations. Local Scuba groups visit these spots regularly.
Sailing and Horse Racing: You can rent a Hobie cat from beach operators in front of Coconut Court hotel 2 minutes walk along the beach from the property or just relax with a drink in hand and watch the Yacht Club regattas from the comfort of your elevated balcony (winter months) They tack up the coast and come so close to shore you can hear the captain calling the orders.
In addition you can walk to the Garrison Savannah and place a bet on your favorite horse or hang out with the locals either in the Grand Stand with a coctail in hand or in one of the tents in the grounds and join a card game.
